Company history
Namesco was originally two companies, both of whom were internet service providers and domain name registers. Both Names.co.uk and WebCall.com were established in the mid 1990s. The merger took place in 2000 and the joint company have continued to grow in size and strength since this.
A particularly instrumental step forward came in 2004 when Namesco bought out one of their top competitors Simply.com who, at that point, were managing 92,000 domain names. In 2005 Namesco acquired 10 times as many subscribers when they took over another competitor NDO.
This steady growth over the last decade demonstrates Namesco’s commitment to broadening its own horizon, and the horizons of their customers through the accessible broadband service they provide.

Because my elderly mother needs broadband to keep in touch and for her charity's administration, I needed a provider whose service would never ever cause her problems or stress. Namesco is the best provider with which I've ever had dealings - others contracted to provide broadband on the same line would drop connection several times a day, but Namesco's has virtually never gone down. The staff are so helpful and really take ownership of whatever issues you put to them (not that I've really had any). I could rhapsodise about this company. Extremely satisfied - about as far as ISPs can get from my experience of AOL Broadband and others who torment one with shambolic provision.

With Namesco’s HomeMax+ package I feel like I’ve got an advanced broadband service for very little money per month. Added to this is the professional level of support from the customer service team – they’ve dealt with my queries very quickly and they are always polite even when I sound a bit stressed.
They really seem to know what they’re doing – maybe that’s why they’ve been around for so long.

The customer service is hassle-free; if I have a query or problem they deal with it there and then. It’s really useful that their technical support team are also open Sundays as this is when I’m most likely to use my home broadband.
Every representative I’ve spoken to has gone out of their way to answer my questions – most of the answers I could probably have found on Namesco’s website, however I like to have someone explain things to me, which is why their broadband knowledge is invaluable.

I’m completely satisfied with my Namesco broadband service. I’ve had no problems so far, and compared to the last company I used, the reliability of the connection is excellent.
What I get for my money is very good value too, especially as the package included a free router and microfilters. I’ll definitely recommend them to others – especially as I get commission for each referral through my website. Very happy!
