A Be customer service agent has won a major award

Broadband provider Be has revealed that one of its customer service agents has been given a major award.

The company has announced that Sam Filipov, who works at the 60K International Contact Centre, was given the Gold Medal for Best Customer Service Agent at the ContactCenterWorld.com Awards in Las Vegas this month.

Be's Head of Operations, Tom Williams, said he was "thrilled" to see a member of the firm's customer service team get the recognition they deserve.

He added: "We're committed to providing an unbeatable customer experience every time a Be employee interacts with our customers.

"We always receive positive feedback from our customers about how our customer service agents bring dedication, passion and expert knowledge to their jobs."

Be Broadband was also recently awarded the silver medal at the Think Broadband Customer Ratings Awards 2009, coming second to its parent company and fellow internet service provider O2 at the major industry event.
