Karoo makes bundled broadband request

Karoo has issued a request to Ofcom for it to be able to offer bundled phone and broadband deals to its customers.
The company has revealed on its Facebook page that it is "in talks" with the communications regulator over the plans, which could affect both residential and business subscribers.
It has called on its customers to outline their interest in such a move and claimed it would allow them access to cheaper bundles on a par to those available in other parts of the UK.
"There are no specific details yet, but we would like to show Ofcom that our customers support this initiative. We'll post further details about the formal consultation when it becomes available," Karoo added on the website.
Karoo is the broadband brand of the Kingston Communciations division of KCOM Group, which has just announced the launch of a new business.
Affiniti and Kingston Communications (outside Hull and East Yorkshire) have been merged to create the new company Kcom.

The Hull situation is a joke. It makes the place a broadband banana republic!
