Be Broadband set to launch London campaign

7th October 2008

Be Broadband will target London workers this week with an advertising campaign promoting its broadband service.

Promotions will be held at Paddington, Liverpool Street, Victoria and Canary Wharf rail stations, with the handing out of free drinks and 1Gb memory sticks to commuters, reports advertising news provider Brand Republic.

Billboards will highlight the service offered by the broadband provider, which claims not to squeeze the bandwidth of users’ connections as much as rival ISPs.

Over-worked employees will also have the chance to sit down on "massage chairs" and watch TV and film clips.

Passers-by will be invited to disclose their home telephone number to discover the speed they could be enjoying with a switch to Be Broadband, a subsidiary of O2.

Be Broadband began targeting gamers last year with its Broadband 4 Gamers package, minimising delays connecting to servers.
