Be Broadband launches optimisation feature
7th October 2008
Be Broadband will allow its subscribers to optimise their broadband service with a new optimisation feature.
Members of Be will be able to change the settings on their internet connection, allowing their broadband to be optimised for either speed, reliability or gaming.
Users who require neither of the options will still be able to stick to a standard setting.
The speed setting is aimed at those who consume a lot of media via the internet such as video streaming.
Those who choose the reliability setting will find benefits when using Skype or VoIP services which require a connection to be held for a long time.
Meanwhile gaming mode will make sure the many Be members who enjoy playing online can connect to servers faster.
"While the speed of your internet is still dependent upon your individual broadband connection, this new service will allow Be members to get the most out of their broadband," said Felix Geyr, managing director of Be Broadband.
