T-Mobile upgrades mobile broadband network

T-Mobile has announced the upgrading of its mobile broadband network.
The broadband provider has set to work bettering its 3G network to allow speeds of up to 7.2Mbps, starting within the Greater London area but expanding to other major cities in the UK by the end of the year.
In other developments, T-Mobile the first nationwide fast upload network in the UK - named HSUPA - which will allow users to upload photos and videos to websites at speeds of up to 1.4Mbps.
Commenting on research from PC Pro which found that T-Mobile’s mobile broadband connection is the most consistent in the country, the firm’s head of internet and entertainment, Richard Warmsley, said: "That’s important to people who love the freedom they get with mobile broadband but want reliability too."
He added: "We think our new range of improvements make us the best in Britain on all fronts."
New customers signing up to T-Mobile’s Mobile Broadband Plus 24-month tariff before October 1st can take advantage of a £5 discount for the first three months.
