Tiscali enforce usage cap
3rd June 2008
Tiscali has announced that its £4.49 broadband deal will include a 5GB monthly usage limit for downloads as of today (June 3rd).
The 8MB package, which also includes a free wireless router, previously held an unlimited usage allowance, along with free set-up support.
A bundled broadband and phone product, the deal also includes unlimited free UK weekend and international landline calls, with those switching able to keep hold of their existing phone number.
The £4.49 introductory rate increases to £12.99 after the first three months of the contract, which lasts for a minimum term of 12 months.
Tiscali is an award-winning broadband provider and was voted number one for customer satisfaction in a JD Power survey conducted in December last year.
Early last month, broadband provider PlusNet announced the launch of a new broadband usage calculator that has been designed to help people avoid exceeding their monthly download quotas.
