Eclipse launches ‘customer-controlled’ broadband
13th May 2008
Award-winning broadband provider Eclipse has announced the launch of its new ‘customer-controlled’ internet products.
Unique features offered by the firm include a broadband dashboard which allows users to prioritise bandwidth for services such as browsing, email, filesharing, gaming or networking.
The company has also introduced a range of usage allowances to suit customers’ requirements and allow people to pay only for what they use.
"For the first time, broadband users will be able to customise their service to suit their usage - so home workers can optimise their broadband to achieve the best possible connection to their company," commented Mark Thomas, head of sales and marketing at Eclipse.
Meanwhile, gamers will be able to prioritise network traffic to play online games more effectively, he added.
He concluded by stating that the new products respond to customer feedback and general online trends.
As well as claiming to have high volumes of customer recommendations, Eclipse is also accredited as a carbon-neutral broadband provider.
