PlusNet cuts broadband package price

PlusNet has revamped its Home Phone Evenings and Weekends package, it has been reported.
Subscribers to the Sheffield-based ISP’s bundle will now pay £9.99 a month, for a package which includes broadband access, monthly line rental, free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines and what the firm dubs "great rates" on other landline, mobile and international calls.
Also added to the package are free calls to PlusNet Home Phone customers at all times, Ispreivew.com reports.
A more extensive package will be priced £19.98, which also allows users to 1GB usage through PlusNet’s Broadband Your Way Option 1.
News of the move from the ISP follows its announcement earlier this month that it has added a new Playstation3 gaming server to its services, as part of a strategy to target the online gaming market, which began with the launch of its Broadband Your Way Pro offer earlier this year.
