TalkTalk/Carphone Warehouse to enter Irish market

Carphone Warehouse is set to enter the Irish broadband market, it has been confirmed.
The mobile phone chain will introduce three new packages in Ireland under its TalkTalk banner before Christmas, according to a spokesperson.
The spokesperson did not reveal the price points of the offers, but did reveal that two will have download speeds of 1Mbps and 2Mbps respectively and that the deals will be available to both existing and new TalkTalk customers.
She told ENN: "In line with all TalkTalk plans we are planning to keep TalkTalk Broadband straightforward and flexible and ensuring great value for the Irish consumer.
"Consumers will be able to choose the broadband speed that suits them best and bundle with any of our existing TalkTalk packages, Talk1, Talk2 and Talk3 to ensure they are getting the product meets their needs," she added.
