Orange launches broadband advice service

Mobile network operator and broadband provider Orange has announced the launch of a new service designed to provide people with advice and help when using the internet.
The company is providing support and advice for people who have been the victims of cyber-bullying as well as simply ensuring that broadband customers are able to secure their networks to prevent themselves becoming the victims of cybercrime.
"You wouldn’t go anywhere in the real world without being aware of the potential risks. And you shouldn’t when you’re online, either," the website explains.
Orange continues: "Mobile phones and the internet have made a huge difference to our lives. But, like everything, they can be used for good or bad purposes. It all depends on what you do with them."
It is hoped the site will help to improve people’s experiences of the internet and reduce the fear among many broadband users of the dangers that the internet may pose.
