Web Developer
Central London, £30-40k dependant on experience
At Top10.co.uk technology runs through everything we do. We build innovative web-based tools that push beyond the boundaries of price comparison, like our recently launched broadband speed test with StreetStats (Top10.co.uk/SpeedTest). We have big plans for 2010 to innovate even further and make Top10 into a household name.
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and hard-working developer to join our team and power us through the next phase of our growth.
Our ideal candidate lives and breathes the internet (you will blog or tweet about your work, or be involved in side projects), be a first rate problem solver and have loads of hands on experience in the following areas:
- Object oriented PHP5
- Frameworks such as Zend or PEAR
- Relational databases such as mySQL, MSSQL or Postgres
- Web services, including SOAP
- Javascript, including libraries such jQuery and extending with plugins
- Smarty
- Apache
- Linux server administration and bash scripting
Our database layer runs on Oracle, so Oracle experience is beneficial but training will also be provided.

Account Executive
Central London, £18-21k dependant on experience
Top10 is the UK’s most successful price comparison companies working in the telecoms space, and we have big plans for 2010 and the further development of the Top10 brand.
Top 10 takes pride in developing long-term, strategic relationships with the biggest brands in telecoms in the UK. We are a key partner for household names such as Vodafone, O2, BT, Virgin and Sky.
We are looking for a bright individual to join our account management team and assist us in delivering market leading client services.
The role will encompass:
- Supporting the team in gathering information on our client performance, helping us spot trends and opportunities for growth
- Reporting back effectively to clients
- Assisting with Content Management
- Helping us maintain a great working environment through a small amount of office management
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with a genuine passion for the Internet. You will be driven to learn and develop, with great attention to detail to assist us in consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations.
You will be of graduate caliber, preferably with a year’s work experience or other experience that shows you can shine.
You will be part of a close, friendly team who strive to excel. By joining us at this key stage in Top 10’s development you will have access to one-on-one training with experts who have years of senior account management experience. You will be able to fulfill your potential with frequent reviews and a clear path of progression through the client services team.
