Apple insider leaks plans for broadband-embedded MacBooks

Rumours of a 3-G broadband embedded MacBook have been flying so thick and fast of late, they’re approaching the kind of internet meme status usually reserved for amusingly captioned pictures of kittens. Today, however, the fabled device edged ever closer to reality.
Previously what had passed as evidence for Apple’s plans, in truth, seemed based on conjecture. Macolytes had for the most part been hinging their predictions on the likes of Apple job notices for Communications QA Engineer whose remit will include testing 3G Wireless WAN.
But the latest crop of news stories seem founded in something a little more concrete. According to an unnamed, shadowy Apple insider, the new range of Apple MacBook Air laptops is not only a certainty to feature embedded 3G broadband, but will appear imminently. The countdown to ISPs offering Apple broadband laptops deals, it seems, can now begin...

Gr8 can't wait. But a tablet-sized Mac like a giant iPhone would be better. I had to get a netbook 'cos the iPhone has no Java or Flash - shame on you Apple, shame on you. Don't you make enough money on the apps and macs to allow Java/Flash/and proper Bluetooth?
