Customer reviews
I have been with PlusNet since May 2007, during which time I have only had to phone their technical team once. From my experience, I can honestly say that their help and assistance has been exemplary. From the time that I joined, I have nothing but praise for the way that they have dealt with my queries etc.

Peter McAllister (Connahs Quay exchange), 26 September 2007I love the incentive of discounts and money back when you recommend a friend who joins up. I have the most expensive package which is Option 4, but this also means I get more money back every time someone I’ve forwarded joins up (2 people so far!).
With this package I also get 240 minutes of Broadband phone time which is brilliant as lots of my friends also have this service and it’s a real money-saver.
I guess the only problem was choosing the right package and knowing what was included–the website was good but could have given a bit more information on things such as security software as I really didn’t know if it came free or not. One phone-call to their friendly customer service team soon answered my questions though.

Carl, 09 August 2007I study full time and houseshare with other students–for me it was really important to have a portable work station within the house and be able to move my laptop around. As part of option 2, I was given a free wireless router as part of the package, as I knew I would be staying with Plusnet for 12 months–I don’t have time to keep changing my service provider.
I haven’t needed to call the customer service team yet as everything I’ve needed to ask has been pretty much covered by the online support pages.

Jane, 09 August 2007I really like the fact that you can choose your package to suit your needs–I went for package one, which was quite basic in terms of hardware but I also opted for the 1-port router add-on which was really easy to set-up.
For £9.99 a month I think it’s tremendous value–I’m not a heavy internet user so I didn’t want to spend a fortune every month. The whole process has been easy from choosing the package to setting up–and so far it’s been reliable whenever I have needed to use it.
